Elk River Falls is one of those places that proves you don’t need a long hike to find something special. I visited with Josh, our son Noah, and our dog Harley, and it was the perfect low-effort adventure day. Most reviews echo the same thing—it can get busy during warmer months, but the accessibility and scenery make it worth it. It’s an ideal spot for families, casual explorers, and anyone wanting to enjoy a beautiful waterfall without committing to a strenuous hike.
